Seller policies

Rules & expectations

Straightforward rules that protect you, your buyers, and the integrity of the marketplace.

Fund hold period

After you mark an order as shipped, a 14-day hold begins on those funds. Once it expires, the amount is released to your store balance and available for withdrawal. This window protects buyers against non-delivery and gives tracking time to confirm.

Payouts

Funds do not withdraw automatically. You request your payout when you're ready. Every payout includes a full breakdown of sale amount, Avonhood fees, shipping label cost, and net amount transferred to your bank via Stripe.

Strike system

Avonhood maintains a three-strike system. Strikes fall off automatically after 6 months. The most common reason for a strike is failure to fulfill within the required window.

Strike 1: Warning issued. No impact to store visibility yet.

Strike 2: Store is flagged. Fulfillment expectations reviewed.

Strike 3: An Avonhood team member will investigate and determine the appropriate action — store suspension (temporary, with right to appeal within 5 days) or account termination.

Standard fulfillment window is 2 business days. If your store offers express shipping, the window for those orders is 1 business day.

Returns & refunds

WindowBuyers may return within 14 days of purchase.
LabelAvonhood provides the return shipping label.
DeductionRefund amount is automatically deducted from your next payout.

Prohibited products

The following may not be listed or sold on Avonhood under any circumstances:

US sellers only

Avonhood is currently open to sellers based in the United States only. You must be able to ship to any US address within 7–10 business days. This requirement exists to ensure consistent delivery standards and Stripe payment compliance for all sellers on the platform.
